LuxEXPO Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 28, 2026
LuxEXPO (“the App”) is an exposure calculator for Apple Watch published by Andrew Paul Beckett (“we,” “us,” or “the developer”). This policy explains what information the App handles and how.
Summary
LuxEXPO does not collect, sell, or share personal data with us or with third-party analytics or advertising services. The App works offline on your devices. The only data it stores is your in-app camera settings, saved locally on your Apple Watch.
Information the App stores on your device
When you use LuxEXPO, the App may save the following on your Apple Watch only, using Apple’s standard UserDefaults storage:
- Exposure settings (for example ISO, aperture, shutter speed, flash power, subject distance)
- Selected light level and exposure compensation
- Which settings you have locked
- Guide number and flash sync speed preferences
This data stays on your device. We do not receive it and cannot access it.
Information we do not collect
The App does not:
- Require an account or sign-in
- Transmit data to our servers (we do not operate servers for LuxEXPO)
- Use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs
- Access your photos, location, contacts, microphone, camera, or Health data
- Use the iPhone companion app to collect data (it exists only to distribute the watch app on the App Store)
Apple and App Store
If you download LuxEXPO from the App Store, Apple processes your purchase and device information under Apple’s Privacy Policy. That processing is between you and Apple, not controlled by this App’s code.
Children
LuxEXPO is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Data retention and deletion
Settings persist until you delete the App or reset your watch. Removing LuxEXPO from your Apple Watch deletes the App’s local data from that device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
